The Board of Commissioners via an Emergency Meeting in coordination with County Sheriff, EMA, Administrative Judge for Court of Common Pleas, and Prosecutors Office, has determined the weather-related closure of county buildings January 26, 2026.
County First Responders and designated essential employees shall report to work or be available for duty as determined by their appointing authority and/or department head.
Department Heads under the Board of Commissioners are asked to be available for emergent needs of essential employees and/or the public virtually or via phone.
As of 1/25/26 The Central and Eastern Judges have notified HR they too will be closed January 26, 2026.

We greatly appreciate the cooperation amongst the Board and all other Elected Officials, Department Heads, and any staff who assisted in ensuring our employees and citizens are safe during episodes of incident weather such as this.
