Public Comment Period: Trumbull County Hazard Mitigation Plan
The Trumbull County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is accepting public comments on the Trumbull County Hazard Mitigation Plan from March 16 through March 30, 2026. Residents, businesses, and community partners are encouraged to review the plan and provide feedback.
The plan identifies natural hazards that may impact Trumbull County—such as flooding, severe storms, tornadoes, and winter weather—and outlines strategies to reduce risks, protect lives and property, and improve preparedness before disasters occur.
Community input helps ensure the plan reflects local needs and priorities. An approved plan also helps the county and participating jurisdictions remain eligible for certain FEMA mitigation grant programs.
