The Road Division includes School Resource Officers (SROs), who provide more than school security. Deputies are assigned throughout five school districts, serving as educators, mentors and support figures for students while maintaining the physical security of the school.

Keeping the Community Safe is the goal of the Road Division. Deputies patrol a total of 637 square miles in Trumbull County, providing law enforcement services and assisting citizens to over 196,000 residents in 26 townships. Road Deputies work 365 days a year, providing the highest level of service and protection, in order to prevent crime and preserve peace. This is done by conducting ourselves with the highest ethical standards.

Weights and scales vehicles operate within the Road Division. A Deputy monitors conveyance by validating weight regulations, (pictured below), compliance with service hours, and confirming equipment safety on oversized carriers. These safety checks serve as a preventive means to decrease the damage of the County’s roadways.
