Workforce Development Board

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA) requires the establishment of local workforce areas within states based on geographic, industrial, educational, and other regional economic factors. Trumbull County forms Ohio’s Local Workforce Area 18. Area 18 is governed by the Trumbull County Commissioners and is represented by the Trumbull County Workforce Development Board (TCWDB).

The Workforce Development Board (WDB) of Trumbull County is soliciting bids from interested parties to serve as the “Employer of Record”, and providing payroll services for the WIOA Youth programs and Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP).
