Workforce Board Seeks Applicants
In keeping with our policy of full transparency, the Trumbull County Workforce Development Board is seeking applicants for Board membership. Members of the Board must possess optimum policy-making authority within their respective organizations and availability to attend meetings.
Applicants from the following are being solicited:
- Local business and industry, including small business.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA) requires the establishment of local workforce areas within states based on geographic, industrial, educational, and other regional economic factors. Trumbull County forms Ohio’s Local Workforce Area 18. Area 18 is governed by the Trumbull County Commissioners and is represented by the Trumbull County Workforce Development Board (TCWDB).
