Statement Regarding ARPA Program Audit
The ARPA program was tested by the County’s third-party auditors, Clark Schaefer Hackett, for years 2024 and 2025. As far as the reference to an ongoing investigation by the Auditor of State’s Office, at this time we can only say that it is unrelated to ARPA, as that program has already been tested and reported on. We are aware of the ongoing investigation but cannot comment on it, as it is considered confidential until the Auditor of State’s Office releases its report.
