The Trumbull County Engineers office is looking for individuals who are seeking a career opportunity. These are entry level full time positions in our Highway maintenance department.
Job duties would include:
Flagging traffic
Patching potholes
Cutting brush
Cutting grass
Painting lines on the road
Plowing snow
General maintenance work
New hires would need to go through pre-employment background check and drug screening.
New hires would also be required to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) within six months. We provide the training. New hire pays for permit, testing, and license. (approx.. $225)
Wages without a CDL start at $19.82 per hour with an increase to $21.88 once they obtain the class B CDL. If you obtain a class A CDL, then $23.74. Top rate for the labor position is currently $24.38.
