TRU-Mines Road & State Route 46 Intersection Improvements
The Transportation Improvement District received two grants for improvements at this intersection. The first is to provide detailed engineering and design of a left turn lane with new traffic signal and timing improvements to be made at the intersection and the second to construct those improvements. The new left turn lane will promote economic development by alleviating the issues identified in the warrant study including traffic stacking, congestion, pedestrian safety and more in an area of dense retail, dining, and entertainment destinations.
